Walking for Crossroads Carers Support Group

St. Jean Pied de Port in France

Santiago de Compostela in Spain

a 500 mile pilgrimage to raise funds

An 800KM walking pilgrimage from St. Pied de Porte in France, crossing over the Pyrenees into Spain, ending in Santiago de Compostela.

In the year leading up to this walk I hope to inspire you all to donate generously to the charity I will be walking for. A charity that is there for carers, by carers. Carers who, in this challenging time have not only worked endless hours unpaid and are mostly unseen as they are not NHS staff. The CCSG is there to help them find help for themselves, respite or practical and as with everything in this life that costs money. Money that I hope to help raise by walking from A to B.

Every journey starts with the first step and the road ahead of me, eventhough long can be taken one step at a time. As life sometimes needs to be taken one day at a time. Especially for carers this can be true.

How can you help?

You can donate money! Give however much you can or want through the JustGiving page by clicking here.

You can share this news and encourage your friends and family to donate too.

You can donate to me and help me pay for this by offering items I might need but not yet own. Or by offering to donate towards the cost of nights in pilgrim hostels. Please contact me for details directly through mail.

Or ... You can walk with me! The whole Way of St. James or parts of it. If you decide to walk with me contact me to discuss details.
